What types of products are suitable for selling on BuyCity?

  • B2B distribution products: High profit margin and high inventory turnover items, such as high-end products, daily necessities, healthcare products, and household goods. These products tend to have large and stable demand, making them suitable for wholesale distribution.
  • Seasonal or market trend products: Products that are expected to have higher demand in 2025, such as sports and health products, smart home appliances, personal electronics, leisure and entertainment products, sports equipment, outdoor camping supplies, and 3C digital peripherals.
  • Bulk consumer products: BuyCity prioritizes supporting products sold in full cases or bulk quantities. This approach can help reduce packaging and shipping costs, while also allowing B2B distributors to benefit from lower procurement costs, enabling them to offer more competitive retail prices for trial sales.
  • Products with export potential: Items that have the potential to be successfully promoted and sold in overseas markets can help attract more international buyers and expand BuyCity's sales reach.
  • Products with longer shelf life: For products with expiration dates, BuyCity recommends providing items with at least one and a half to two years of product life.

Onboarding and Cooperation Process

What is the process for merchant application, product listing, consignment cooperation, inventory management and order processing?

BuyCity aims to provide comprehensive support for suppliers through a flexible cooperation model and professional inventory management services, in order to maximize the sales effectiveness for both parties. This approach helps meet customer needs while ensuring the stability of the supply chain.

The key steps are:

  • Company registration and merchant membership application: Provide basic information, and a dedicated representative will follow up on the internal approval process.
  • Product selection and preparation: After the application is approved, you can select products and prepare the required information, which BuyCity will then upload to the backend system.
  • Inventory management: BuyCity offers professional inventory management services. Merchants are responsible for directly shipping the goods to BuyCity's automated warehouse and providing product barcodes.
  • Direct-to-customer shipping: In some cases, merchants may ship products directly to the customer's address.
  • Product listing: After confirming the warehouse inventory quantity and pricing with the customer, BuyCity will officially list the product.
  • Order processing: Orders are processed efficiently within 2 working days, ensuring accurate product information and real-time inventory tracking from ordering to delivery.
  • Inventory management: Suppliers need to closely monitor their inventory levels to ensure sufficient quantities are available to meet customer demand.

How will customer inquiries, refund requests, or return requests be handled?

BuyCity will be responsible for providing 24-hour after-sales service to handle customer inquiries, returns, exchanges, and complaints. Suppliers also need to provide prompt support for product-related issues, and must be prepared to handle returns/exchanges or provide replacements in order to ensure customer satisfaction.

Generally, within 30 days of placing an order, customers can apply for a refund or return if:

i) The product is incorrect
ii) The item is damaged or scratched upon arrival
iii) For other situations, please follow the refund and return policies

If there are any issues, customers need to upload relevant photos as proof when applying.

Supplier Management Mechanisms and Policies

What is the supplier management mechanism? What are the evaluation criteria?

BuyCity has established a comprehensive supplier management mechanism. It will evaluate your company, product quality, and business operations. Through document review and other methods, it ensures that you meet the supplier admission standards. After onboarding, we will also continuously track performance and monitor the business situation, providing timely feedback and improvement suggestions, so that both parties can develop in a stable manner.

What are the rights and obligations of suppliers?

Both parties will act according to the terms of the contract. As a BuyCity supplier, you have the following rights:

  • Fully utilize BuyCity's traffic and marketing resources to increase product exposure and sales
  • Obtain professional warehousing and logistics services to improve delivery efficiency
  • Receive comprehensive operational support, including customer service and after-sales assistance

How will BuyCity make the payment settlements?

We will set a settlement cycle of 1-3 months, depending on the product category, as per the terms of the contract signed with you. We will pay you accordingly. In the settlement process, we will deduct the platform transaction fee, logistics fee , warehouse fee, and other related fees.

Can you further explain BuyCity's commission sharing policy?

BuyCity provides suppliers with a flexible revenue sharing plan:
For the 'Merchant Partnership Program' Basic and Pro Package, we will only distribute for the merchants without charging any commission, helping you build your distribution network faster. We will only provide the B2C retail and B2B distribution sales model for 'Enterprise Customers', where you need to pay a certain proportion of sales commission. The revenue sharing proportion with BuyCity will be pre-agreed and dynamically adjusted based on factors such as product category, sales volume, and supplier performance.
